As of Fall 2009 Washington Square Park (WSP) was still undergoing renovations. Our team wanted park visitors to be aware of the renovation and to interact with new people. We succeeded in creating this interaction between strangers without the use of text, and our intervention prompted conversation between park visitors and testimonials from long-time visitors of Washington Square Park.
Final puzzle created with laser-cut masonite pieces. Early prototypes made with cardboard.
